What came by in the last year?
To much to call. Of course we were guest at all the current sport events Drenthe has. We were able to attend to special activities in all townships and we could mark them as Community of Sport events. We got attention in media, there were videos made. There were newsitems. We had big and small events. We kicked off at the 18th of january at the TT Circuit. After that there were multiple other events and meetings. Below just a view of all activities.
On the 5th of december we were proclaimed European Community of Sport
On the 5th of december the representatives of the 12 townships and the provence of Drenthe received the title ‘European Community of Sport’ during the yearly ACES Europe Award Gala in the European Parlement in Brussel. The commission of evaluation found in Drenthe the example of how sport can be used in society and came to a possitive judgment for Drenthe as sportregion. Read more
